UNESCO Cities of Design

Mark Wiens is a traveller. He is not like other travellers. In his blog, migrationology.com, he introduces us cities with their dishes. According to Wiens, there is no better way to connect with people, than through food.

Istanbul is one of Wiens’ stopping places. He and his wife came to Istanbul in 2016. He visited Istanbul’s famous landmarks such as Grand Bazaar, Sultanahmet, Taksim Square, Kadiköy Market and others. Wiens and his wife says Istanbul is one of the greatest cities in the world.

Wiens tried many meals authentic to Turkey. He ate kebab, doner, grilled meatball, anchovy, lahmacun and many other delicacies. He drank Turkish coffee. Turkish coffee has been kind of an obsession for Wien since his Jordan travel.

Mark Wiens has written about 15 cities so far in his blog. He wrote about transportation, visa works, hotel, landmarks and foods of the city. Also he records videos and share them on his YouTube channel. You can find them below.

Wiens travels for food.
