Design in the Age of Big Data
6 December 2018 - 7 June 2019
Design in the Age of Big Data shows the impact of digitalization on our products. There are sensors, scanners, fitness trackers and medical devices for monitoring and visualising the human body, but also robots and drones.
In the exhibition, products are classified into different topics in order to help visitors understand the complexity of the relationship between human and technology. Their effect on each other and the consequences of the design of intelligent products are shown at the exhibition.
The exhibition’s concept is based on the article ‘Homo Ex Data’ by Professor Dr. Peter Zec, the Founder and CEO of the Red Dot Design Award.
