UNESCO Cities of Design

On the southernmost tip of the half-sunken restaurant, called the Under, is located with one side on the coastline and the other on the seabed.

This new restaurant also works as a marine research center. In order to create a machine learning tool that will monitor the species at regular intervals, interdisciplinary research teams will be invited to examine the biodiversity found in the southern coast. Under is designed considering these populations. The building was built to function as an artificial coral reef and will be integrated into the sea as limpets, moss and other underwater life begins to grow from the concrete shell.
