Do you remember the Sony Walkman? It was a revolutionary product for people to listen to music. The portable music player created by SONY co-founder Masaru Ibuka, was designed to provide a light and cheap way to use a portable media player. An old Sony Pressman was modified and the first Walkman was revealed. Then, it became a popular media player with numerous evolutions. 

SONY opened a retrospective exhibition in Ginza, Tokyo to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Walkman. The Day the Music Walked exhibition was opened as a part of a program for the people who had a story with Walkman: #009 WALKMAN IN THE PARK. 230 Walkman throughout history is displayed in the exhibition and you can listen to the stories of Japanese celebrities with Walkman.
